I used to do so well at keeping up with Ethan's care page, but man, I am really stinking at keeping up with the blog! I think I started slacking off with the care page too after Katelyn was born. Sure, blame it on the kids, right?!
I have another Ethan story for you:
Before I was getting ready to go to work on Friday night, the kids and Weylin were getting ready to head to a birthday party. Here is the conversation between my kids:
Ethan: Bryce, you're not invited to the party.
Bryce: Why not?
Ethan: Because you didn't do the dance.
Bryce: What dance?
Ethan: (picture Ethan dancing and singing) Shake your booty, shake your booty....
Every single day with every single thing Ethan does, it is more and more clear that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....he is so Weylin's child and there is no denying it!

Family funnies
Bryce's class is spending the week at the local zoo and learning a lot about the animals behind the scenes. He came home yesterday and reported he got to pet a rhino. The funniest part was that he said the rhino was "gentle and cuddley." That's not really what I picture when I think of a rhino!
Today I was dropping Ethan and Katelyn off at daycare. It was still kind of early, right around 8 am, and Ethan was being kind of loud. I quickly shushed him. This is what he said:
Me: Shhhh Ethan!
Ethan: Why? We don't want to scare the eagles?
Me: Um, sure!
I love my kids! They certainly keep life interesting!

A new year...
Hi friends and family! It is a new year and I am attempting to make some life changes! Isn't that what the new year is for? I have always had a hard time keeping up with things....I tend to be a huge, and I mean HUGE, procrastinator and perfectionist. I want things to be "just right" and I deep down know it is crazy! So, after about 9 months, I am going to attempt to keep our blog up to date, and maybe even backlog on some events! Be looking for another post soon!
